Stay up on current events, read the news paper and watch the news, Insurance is often times an emotional purchase. we can increase our marketability and awareness by working a neighborhood with door hangers to make them aware we are here for them in times of tragedy. house fires, thefts, break ins are all events that give Aegis insurance an opportunity to show the community we care by providing insurance products that will aid in their peace of mind if events like that would happen to them. 2. Order key chains and notepads. Unitrin and Erie both offer free marketing material that can help you when approaching offices and individuals. no one should leave your office without a refrigerator magnet or key chain that makes them think of you. 3. News papers are a great opportunity to let your community know we care. look for new birth announcements and and engagements. when peoples lives change so does there insurance needs be the first to ask to meet with them or congratulate them and you may increase your business also. 4. Christmas and birthday cards. Send them. stick a business card in there and a personal note saying i hope you are pleased with the service we have provided you, I have enclosed a couple business cards so you can give one to a friend or family member that might want to save also. etc...
